Mission

Toledo Christian, working with Christian families, provides a college-preparatory Bible-centered educational program to educate, disciple, and prepare students to follow Christ and impact culture.

Educate

Toledo Christian is first and foremost a Christian school, one that has chosen a classical model of education.  As a classical Christian school, Toledo Christian believes education is about forming the whole person. With a highly trained faculty, robust academic and fine arts classes, and low class ratios, Toledo Christian provides a consistent and strategic approach to education. We teach students from preschool through twelfth grade to think, learn, and communicate.

Disciple

The primary objective of Toledo Christian is to help every student begin to develop a Biblical worldview and grow as a life-long, devoted follower of Jesus Christ. Toledo Christian partners with Christian families and local church communities, surrounding students with caring, Christ-centered teachers, coaches, and staff that pray for and mentor their students. Students also participate in Chapel and other spiritual emphasis gatherings, prayer, and Bible classes geared towards Biblical literacy and personal transformation. All classes in every subject area are grounded in a Biblical worldview, demonstrating that all things are accountable to Christ and aiding in the development of a Biblical worldview. Toledo Christian has a dedicated pastor on staff committed to investing in the spiritual-health of each student. 

Prepare

Graduation releases students and launches them into the next phase of their lives, ready to serve their communities and impact culture as Christ-centered members of society. These traits are developed through engagement in community service, performing arts and athletics experiences, mentor relationships, robust academic requirements, and leadership development opportunities.

Vision

As the region’s largest non-denominational Christian school, Toledo Christian provides students with a first-rate and diverse educational experience, encouraging a life-long passion for learning as well as post-secondary academic and professional success. Additionally, Toledo Christian partners with the family and the local Church to develop dedicated followers of Christ. From preschool through their senior year, graduates are prepared through a wide variety of social, artistic, and athletic opportunities, ready to be released to make an impact on the world.

Statement of Faith

We believe that in order to preserve the function and integrity of Toledo Christian, and to provide a biblical role model to all members of our school community, it is imperative that all persons employed by Toledo Christian in any capacity, or who serve as members on the Board of Directors, subscribe annually in writing to our Statement of Faith, and our parents and volunteers recognize what we believe.
